This Kit Includes

  • Buddleia x ‘Pugster Amethyst’ (Pugster® Amethyst Butterfly Bush) This diminutive butterfly magnet recalls the well-known namesake gem in its rich, multi-toned purple hues. The cone-shaped flowers bloom for months, sending butterflies to seek out its nectar. Best for full sun and tolerant of dry conditions, try these in your low-water gardenscapes.
  • Hydrangea paniculata ‘Jane Little Lime’ (Little Lime panicle hydrangea) Like all panicle hydrangeas, Jane Little Lime is easy to grow, producing flowers on old and new shoots. Neat and clean in spring, this medium shrub emerges with green leaves and forms green flowers that fade into cream midsummer, and mature into deep pink or maroon by later summer or fall. This flower looks great paired with dark foliage or anything with a hint of rose.
  • Liriope muscari ‘Big Blue’ (Big Blue Liliturf) This grass-like groundcover requires low maintenance and maintains a clean, green appeal. Blooming in spring with lavender tufts, the flowers will fade into dark little berries by mid-summer. Consider this as a low-mow, lawn alternative for areas not exposed to foot traffic.
  • Muhlenbergia capillaris (Pink muhly grass) Native to the western and central United States, this fuzzy, pink grass is tolerant of droughty conditions, salt, and poor soils but also at home in the garden collection. Very low-maintenance, its inflorescence will provide months of color, even into winter. Additionally, this grass is known to provide cover for small birds and to attract beneficial ladybird beetles (Coccinella spp.) to the garden. more info
